Spiritual Growth and Community Worship

At Joy Baptist Church, our Sunday morning worship service reflects a traditional Baptist style centered on the Word of God. We still enjoy singing the great hymns of the faith from the hymnbook, along with Christ-centered worship that prepares our hearts to hear from Scripture. The preaching is biblical and evangelistic, clearly presenting the gospel while also challenging believers to grow in their faith and walk more closely with the Lord.

Sunday evenings at Joy have a relaxed, family-like atmosphere and provide an opportunity to dig a little deeper into God’s Word. The preaching often blends preaching and teaching as we work through a particular book of the Bible or follow a focused series of messages. It’s a comfortable setting for growing in your understanding of Scripture, strengthening your faith, and enjoying fellowship with your church family.

Wednesday evening Adult Bible Study at Joy is a relaxed time focused on growing deeper in our understanding of God’s Word. Rather than a traditional preaching service, the emphasis is on teaching through Scripture, exploring biblical truths, and learning how they apply to everyday life. It’s an opportunity to ask questions, strengthen your faith, and grow together with others in a welcoming and encouraging setting.

JoyKids is our Sunday morning children’s ministry designed to help children learn about God in a way that is biblical, engaging, and age appropriate. Through Bible teaching, Scripture memory, music, activities, and practical application, children are encouraged to know God’s Word and understand how it applies to their everyday lives. Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming environment where children can grow in their faith, build friendships, and discover the joy of following Jesus.

JamSesh is Joy Baptist Church’s Wednesday night children’s ministry, created to help kids grow in their knowledge of God’s Word while having a great time together. Each week includes Bible teaching, Scripture memory, music, games, Bible skills, and interactive learning designed especially for children. JamSesh gives kids a place to build friendships, learn biblical truth, and discover how to live out their faith every day in a fun, encouraging, Christ-centered environment.
